NATURAL,
SIMPLE, FRESH .......
Babies need very little, if any, body care
during their first year of life- water, a tiny bit of natural
soap when needed, moisturizer if necessary, and most of
all love. That's it. Honey B.U.N.S.™
is made with this idea in mind.
Honey B.U.N.S.™
is 100% natural, uses a short,
simple list of ingredients, and our products are made fresh.
Using no
preservatives, synthetic fragrances, sulfates or other harsh
ingredients that are clinically provern to cause skin irritations, sensitivities, allergic
reactions, and in some lab tests, cancer, Honey B.U.N.S.™gently
blends traditional ingredients from the Continent of Africa to offer body
care that works with baby's skin and natural essence, not
against it (btw- we don't animal test).

F.A.Q.
Honey B.U.N.S.™is
a bit more expensive, why is that?
In the beginning, I
knew that I wanted to stand behind the integrity of my products.
I never considered using cheaper, artificial ingredients because
I knew about the dangers of synthetics, especially on baby skin.
We will always offer natural products and unfortunately, it's
more expensive to produce natural products. I find that
across the board, natural, organic, healthy living is more
expensive, however, WORTH IT!!!
Most common baby
care product lines use a plethora of ingredients that we are
unfamiliar with. They are very inexpensive to get and they
are needed to create textures, fragrances, bubbles, and also to
preserve the product while it waits for months or even years
in a warehouse, awaiting shipment to some location.
Honey B.U.N.S.™is
all natural. We do not use preservatives because we do not
stock pile our products. We use essential oils which are
much more expensive than fragrance oils, and we also use a few
ingredients that are not common to body care suppliers,
therefore they are more expensive to purchase as well.
I've heard that even
natural products can harm my baby's skin, how do we know what's
best? Trial and error, reading labels, and following
your instincts. We don't know which
babies will be sensitive even to all natural and organic
products. We use only natural ingredients to reduce the
chances of this happening, but not everyone can use everything.
Even my son, whom I crafted the products for, is sensitive to too much lavender essential oil. We use
natural ingredients to stave off as many allergic reactions to
synthetics as possible, and we've never heard of cancer
developing from aloe vera or coconut oil use. I have,
however, read numerous articles and cases where lab animals
(which we do not use) were exposed to parabens. The
exposed areas of their skin became cancerous.
Remember to read
labels, less is more, and if there is an ingredient that you
need a chemical dictionary to pronounce, do further research on
that ingredient and be sure to understand the purpose of it.
A rule of thumb that I use is that you should not use products
on your skin that you would be afraid to get in your eyes.
Our skin absorbs topical ingredients and because companies do
not test products on babies, I would venture to say that no one
can be 100% sure what reaction one's skin will have.
Further, all of the elements of the Earth have been created for
a purpose(s). Our charge is to utilize these natural gifts
without abusing them, give back to the Earth through recycling
and replenishing, and be thankful for the abundance of natural
resources that are still available to us in spite of our short
comings.
How do I know
if a product is really natural or not? This is a tough
question because the FDA Cosmetics Division allows loopholes
(for lack of a better term) that companies can slip through.
There are ways in which wording on packaging can be maneuvered
to make a product appear to contain natural ingredients, or
naturally derived ingredients. In actuality, these
ingredients are derivatives that still have chemicals that can
harm our skin and our environment. By law, companies are
supposed to list in order of percentage, the ingredients in
their products, but unless you are versed in all the harmful
ingredients that are common to most body care products, you
may not be aware.

Are there
any plans for making larger sizes? We
do not plan to produce larger sizes.
My lotion separated
after about a month or so, is this okay? In order for
a product to stay blended over an extended period of time it
typically needs an emulsifier, and while there are a few natural
emulsifiers available, we have not found one that we want to
use. Our Sweet Moisturizing Milk simply needs a
turn or gentle shake and it "reblends" itself.
Can I switch the
items in the gift boxes? We are willing to make any
accommodations for our guests. Please contact us at
866.honey12 if you have a special request.
How do I return
products? Please contact us via email or phone within
three business days of your decision to return your products.
We will then advise you on how to return your unused products.
We will also advise you of your refund or replacement products.
ENJOY!!!
