Simply put, we hand blend good things for ourselves, our homes, and the Earth and we have a blast learning and teaching others how to do it. We don't offer ingredients that are added just to make a product look pretty on the shelf and smell like cotton candy, strawberries and cream, or honey melon apple crunch. We don't offer fancy packaging, and we don't mass produce.

More than a decade ago, the vision for EBF by Sakilé™ was blessed to me during my graduate school internship (Go Rattlers!) in the bush of Cameroon, Africa. Walking through the villages, I was surrounded by lush, tropical forests, black sand beaches, brilliantly colored flowers and fruits, and wise mothers with the most beautiful, stress free living you could imagine and flawless skin to prove it.

The vision was to return to the States and share what I learned with others. So, I created what I thought was the perfect vehicle to share my experience: a company with a brand, a product line, and a marketing scheme. It sounded good at the start, but that wasn't the vision.

Today, my focus is on honoring the vision with my actions, my practices, and  EBF by Sakilé™. Sakilé™ is a Swahili word for "peace and beauty" and it is on these two simplistic, yet potent principals that EBF has come to be.

I keep it natural, simple, and fresh so that nothing we blend is harmful to ourselves, our families, or the environment.
